I’m Dorian Hartwood. I write, and I build practical things with AI.
This publication is a place to think about work, leadership, care, creativity, and the choices that shape an ordinary day. Technology belongs in that conversation, alongside attention, rest, and our relationship with the natural world.
I’m interested in questions that remain useful after you close the page. What does good work ask of us? Where do we need a clearer boundary? What are we overlooking while we hurry? The essays here make room for honest disagreement, practical judgment, and a little more attention to what matters.
AI is the tool. Humanity is the point. Earth is the home.
I believe in our capacity to care for one another and the world we share. That belief includes clear boundaries, honest disagreement, and accountability for harm. It also means seeking balance—caring for ourselves as well as others, valuing both ambition and rest, and creating with respect for the Earth. Through what I write, build, and share, I want to make room for more understanding, more courage, and more thoughtful ways of living. For me, balance and harmony are things we practice—in our relationships, our work, and our choices.
